In 1936, Arthur Rothstein, a photographer for the Farm Security Administration, was assigned to photograph the Dust Bowl, and took a photograph of farmer Arthur Coble and his sons Milton and Darrell, heading for shelter in stinging dust storm. More than 40 years later, Rothstein returned to the same location, and made another photograph, this one of Darrell Coble and his own sons in their wheat field.
